We have a phone app, and soon we'll be expanding it's communication capablilities.
TODAY
Currently, you can receive alerts for new announcements posted to individual school websites and also the district site. This is the fastest way for us to send out information during an emergency, so we recommend turning on the alterts for your schools. At this time, schools have not used the alerts feature for anything other than emergency communication, so you won't be overwhelmed with notifications on your phone.
COMING SOON
If you have ever used Classroom Dojo to communicate with your children's teachers, you'll be familiar with the new features coming to our app.
View a two minute video of the features HERE. This new features are called EduRooms and is created by our website hosting company Apptegy.
We have a lot happening in the district this year, so not every teacher or school will volunteer to learn EduRooms, and many schools will contiue to use Dojo this year; but for those that are interested, we are hoping parents will download the app, sign up, and dive in.
When we activate EduRooms, parents and guardians will receive a "magic code" for logging into rooms and connecting to their kids and their teachers. More information will be sent out when we are ready to get started.
